The Millenium cycle route (27) goes along our lane and horse riding, fishing and golfing are readily available...and if you really want to experience Dartmoor 'on the edge', you can always try rock climbing, hang gliding or canoeing.
The charming nearby town of Tavistock is the gateway to the World Heritage Mining site and as well as being a gourmet's delight, is full of attractive small shops and 'The Wharf' arts centre.
Countless attractions, such as beaches, gardens, National Trust properties, the Eden
Project and the Tate Gallery at St. Ives are all easy day trips from us. So give
